ah yes the Knick
I agree w/ bigbeahner. the energy level @ the Knick was always incredible. was lucky enough to catch 8 shows there starting w/ the first (check out 3/24/90) & the energy never failed to amaze me. Loose Lucy & casey jones are definitely the highlights of this night. I know a lot of people will disagree w/ me, but I always loved I Fought the Law going back to when I was a kid & Mom used to play the original version. When the Dead started playing it I was happy as hell!!!! As always a great tribute to the original inc. drums for the six gun part. All around great show in a so-so year for the Dead w/ many ups & downs.

One of my first.
The recording is good, sounds clean and you can get a sense of the energy. This was one of the first shows i ever saw live (i was too young).
Despite the copious amount of liquid lsd i ingested i can still remember the show and the great time we had. So nice to be able to come on here and stream this show, download it and be able to revisit a early moment in my "dead career".

I go with this source...
Over the board anyday. The board sounds sweet and all, but the energy level of "The Knick" was allways incredibal. I will allways remember that Loose Lucy, Casey Jones we all sang along.. Plus the reaction to the Comes A Time breakout....
Yes a killer show from the 90's, go figure
